About
This online Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Safety Training course equips workers and supervisors with essential knowledge to safely recognize, assess, and respond to hydrogen sulfide hazards in the workplace. Aligned with OSHA, NIOSH, and industry best practices, the program addresses the physical and chemical properties of H₂S, its toxic and flammable characteristics, and the health effects of acute and chronic exposure. Participants will learn to identify areas where H₂S may be present, understand permissible exposure limits, and apply safe work practices to minimize risk. The course provides detailed instruction on air monitoring methods, alarm systems, ventilation, and emergency procedures, including evacuation and rescue protocols. The training also reviews employer responsibilities for hazard communication, signage, exposure monitoring, and employee training under OSHA standards. Workers gain practical knowledge to recognize H₂S warning signs, respond effectively to alarms, and protect themselves and others from life-threatening exposure. A certificate of completion will be awarded to document successful training. 90 days to complete 30 mins of instruction time
